He acts as visiting professor at faculties of law in Graz (A), Zagreb (CRO), and in Vienna (A). He is a holder of the Jean Monnet Chair, which was granted in 2007 and ongoing Jean Monnet European modules (the last one was granted in 2010).

Svetlana carries out her research in interdisciplinary research fields with a particular focus on efficiency enhancement in legal education; the 21st century legal skills development, legal research methodology; a comparative approach to the International and the European law topical issues resolution.
